Rev. Dr. Harold E. Trammell and Mrs. Denese Trammell

Pastor Harold E. Trammell was called to pastor 
Mt. Jezreel Baptist Church in October 1965 and 
delivered his first sermon on the first Sunday in 
December 1965.  He is a man of wisdom, vision, patience 
and most of all love. His message to the congregation was,
"We must be a Loving, Caring, and Sharing church to grow 
and become the saints that God desires us to be. We must 
think less of church-work and concentrate on the work of 
the church." During his pastorate a multitude of choirs and 
organizations have been created to inspire members to "go out 
and minister to those who are less fortunate than we".
Pastor and Mrs. Trammell are a loving and devoted couple and 
are an inspiration to married and engaged couples. They are 
a blessing to the congregation here at Mt. Jezreel. 
Their legacy will play an important role in Mt. Jezreel’s history. 

Pastor Trammell Retired September 30, 2002 and the titled of Pastor Emeritus was bestowed upon him.
